Thank you for this, Brushing up against either experience has a way of rendering us speechless..

Thanks for sharing this clip. I have spent over 450 days at sea as a Fisheries Observer; all in the Southern Ocean. I can tell you that when the s#*t hits the fan at sea, as it did here, you can rely on any fisher to drop EVERYTHING to save the life. There is no time for second guessing or discussion. You just do what needs to be done. These are the risks taken to get that Crab to your table.
Oh, and a safety harness might have helped prevent this near tragedy.

There is someone that is coming or passing away in your life around the clock, so you may lose sight of those seen, and forget those remembered. There is gain and loss in your life, so you may catch sight of those unseen, and remember those forgotten. Nevertheless, doesn‘t the unseen exist for sure? Will the remembered remain for ever?

Absolutely beautiful Simon! Thanks for sharing! Its amazing to see people really caring about other people, taking risks to help out their fellow man, and becoming overjoyed when a person, whether in their own organization or in another organization is able to pull through a traumatic situation.

Wow. Blown away. Thank yo for sharing.

Absolutely beautiful.

Sometimes it's just divine intervention that separates man from entering eternity. It was a very moving event.

Let's hear it for the captain! He is the leader.

What an amazing story and what an amazing point, life is so precious! We really need to be reminded of this all the time.

I loved that episode of Deadliest Catch. Makes my life pretty good. I always need to catch myself & others bitching and moaning about the little stuff.

This is awesome. I had tears in my eyes. I could feel the emotions of the saving crew. How intense. Life is beautiful and we are all connected as one. Thank you for sharing this.

Life is indeed too precious to waste a single minute! The crew of the Time Bandit had the others guy's back & stood by to assist if necessary. That's also rare in business where it typically every man for himself!

5% of life is what happens to you & 95% is what you do (actions) as a consequence! These guys showed what comradeship & being part of an empathetic society is all about!

Thanks for the post!

Death and birth seem to capture the essence of what it means to be human. Brushing up against either experience has a way of rendering us speechless... or bringing us to tears. (As for me, I began to shiver with him. And even now I am shaky.)

Thank you for this! :)

Thank you for this, Simon. Pretty much whatever you do in life, a scene like this reminds you why you do it. It was a great way to start the day.
